Mundane Madness

Greetings!
Today I'm going to be talking about those everyday things we do that are probably unnecessary or strange to others when we actually think about it. To the individual certain things need to be done in certain ways. We are all guilty of this. I'm going to share some of the things I do that others may find completely abnormal.

1. I have to use a certain kind of glass for orange juice.
We have an array of glasses to choose from in my house but only a certain kind can be used when I have me some Oj. It's just the right size to contain a perfect amount of said juice which pleases me greatly. If I ask for a glass and i'm given the wrong one i get moaned at for the fact tat does it really matter. Erm, yes, yes it does matter. Are you crazy? I can't use a huge glass and then only half fill it (optimist) with juice. Thats just insane. Am I right? I think I am.

2. When i've finished my drink, and this can be any ever, I will never completely finish it. I will always leave about a centimetre in the bottom. There's just something about that last little bit that is extremely unappealing to me somehow. I can't explain it but it makes me cringe thinking about it. Eurgh, just no, I can't.

3. When doing my make up in the morning I have to lay my brushes out in a certain order. Now you're probably thinking I do that too. You may well do that too but my order doesn't involve size order or putting them into their uses order. I don't really know what the thinking behind my madness is. I guess the best way to explain it is that they are like a keyboard. You automatically go to the right letter without too much thought about it. It's the same with my brushes, I know exactly where to go for what brush. Easy.

4. I actually think this next one may not just be me. I know that one of my friends does it too. I can't start a meal unless everything on the plate is separate from each other. When it comes to something like a lasagne you probably think i go insane. Well that's different because everything is supposed to be together for that so i'm all good there. But say i'm having a chicken salad. The salad and the chicken cannot, i repeat cannot be touching. Nope, nada, no.

5. The knife and fork have to be completely clean before I start eating. Well, yes, it's common sense to have clean cutlery. But you know when sometimes someone is serving up the dish and they use a fork to put something on another plate and then I have to use that fork that is now officially dirty. Or when someone put the spoon in the soup before you start. Why would anyone do this? I will go out of my way to wash that spoon so i can start with my clean, fresh cutlery.

I have probably got some more things I do that just can't get their heads around but they seem normal to me so I can't actually think of anymore. Plus I can't be having you all thinking i'm crazy just yet, I mean you haven't even bought me dinner yet and you already  know i can never finish a glass of something. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my post, maybe you have the same weird things I do too. Tell me in the comments if you have any peculiar mundane things.
Till next time.

July 6th

Greetings!
I've been really inspired by Zoella doing here blogging everyday in June and by the fact that Lily Melrose posts on her blog every single day. I mean that's dedication if I ever saw it. So I thought I would take it upon myself to blog everyday in July. Yes I know it's already the 6th but I have posted twice already this month so I'm a third closer to making this successful. I'm actually quite excited to do this. It's going to push me to be more creative and I like a challenge so why not I thought.
It's a Sunday so clothes wise I'm very not really giving a damn, however, I did make an effort to get a few things from my local tescos. I'm wanting to eat healthier and I thought if I have to confess it all on this platform it'll make me feel more guilty if I slip up. That's right, this is a well thought out strategy.

Breakfast consisted of raspberries, blackberries, banana, greek yoghurt (low fat), almonds and a drizzle of clear honey to sweeten slightly. I have to say no being a huge yoghurt fan this actually hit the spot rather nicely. It filled me up which is rare when it comes to breakfast for me as I tend not to eat it (naughty). Do recommend this bowl of goodness though.

My visit to tesco resulted in buying this also. I wanted the Sally Hansen version of this but of course they didn't have any so I went for this instead to see how I went with it. I've never heard of this brand before so have no idea if it's any good or not. Only one way to find out.

Final image is this vibrant tropical print which I found on tumblr. I've been really loving these kinds of prints recently. The colours are gorgeous and the pops of bright pink lift the whole thing. Maybe I'll incorporate something like this into my illustrations.
This post has kind of been a miss mash of things but I just wanted to share and I think it's nice to have a bit of variation in my posts. Anyways I hope you've enjoyed.
See you tomorrow.
