EIn my last post I mentioned I was glad for blogging to back in my day to day routine. That theory went out of the window didn't it. Being at uni and trying to keep a blog running smoothly as well, is not as easy as I thought it would be. However, it's forever in the back of my mind to keep things updated. So I am here to day to do just that with a little lifestyle post. I went to a cute, american style cafe today with a couple of friends. It is always so tempting to go out and buy food rather than cook and today temptation overcame us.
Smokey Joe's was our cafe of choice.
The interior was filled with lots of stereotypical american diner bits and pieces. I'm a sucker for this kind of thing so I was sold completely.
Jukeboxes, cola motifs, old school microphones, traffic lights and even more awesome thengs.
I had myself a cheeky banana milkshake which had glitter on the top. Glitter! It was delicious. And a classic ham and cheese panini which came with coleslaw. I found this aspect unusual. Is having coleslaw with things an american thing or is it just a Sloppy Joe kind of thing?
So that was my little outing today. I have others posts planned for the near future.
